    Normandie

Rua Cotovia, Moema, São Paulo, Brasil

Normandie is a residential building located on Rua Cotovia, in Moema, near Ibirapuera Park, the largest urban park in São Paulo. Its façade faces the small and charming Rua Normandia, known for its shops, cafés, and boutiques.

At the base, the ground-floor retail space and the gym volume resemble glazed concrete boxes. The lobby, featuring double-height ceilings, is enclosed with a glass curtain wall. Without perimeter walls and with a discreet garden, this layout creates an architectural dialogue with Avenida Cotovia, offering a gesture of urban kindness by forming an inviting space for social encounters, in addition to presenting a minimalist aesthetic.

With its slender exposed concrete fins and large corner windows, Normandie combines formal simplicity with elegance. The design brings together the rawness of concrete, inspired by Paulista brutalism, and the precision of industrial porcelain tiles. Details such as the corner windows and flat-bar champagne-coloured railings highlight the sophistication of the project.

The building offers four units per floor, with master suites featuring glazed corner windows that provide unobstructed views of the neighbourhood. Shared amenities include a gym, spa, playroom, and a party room integrated with the pool area.
