MAAM featured in Imóveis de Valor, Valor Econômico

Our project MAAM, developed in partnership with R. Yazbek, was featured in Imóveis de Valor, a special property supplement of the newspaper Valor Econômico. The article highlighted the growing importance of tennis courts in the leisure programmes of new residential developments. It also emphasised the architectural and structural solution of the Y-shaped column, which ensures the optimal functioning of the court while generating a distinctive form that inspired the project’s visual identity.

“The column of the 30-storey tower takes on a Y shape at what would be the third floor, so as not to interfere with the tennis court space”, explains Alarcon, adding that the sport’s recent boom in Brazil has brought a fresh approach to residential leisure design. “The tennis court has always been a mark of high-end developments, but it has now become a defining feature of the projects”, he says.

Comprising a single tower with apartments ranging from 160 to 403 square metres, MAAM is designed by Königsberger Vannucchi, with interiors by David Bastos and landscaping by Licuri. The project’s gross development value (GDV) is estimated at R$600 million (US$ 110 million).
