HY Pinheiros
Av. Rebouças x Rua Teçaindá, Pinheiros, São Paulo, Brasil
The HY Pinheiros project in São Paulo prioritizes space optimization through the creation of an open span and visual connections to the surroundings. To achieve this, solutions such as elevator placement and column positioning enabled the creation of a hall with a free span of 27.85 x 25 meters.
The first office floor was elevated to what would traditionally be the fourth floor, creating a quadruple-height ground level and increasing public permeability. The building’s lobby extends to the slab in a covered, publicly accessible area that connects Avenida Rebouças to the metro station on Rua dos Pinheiros, along a fluid path provided by the continuous roof structure.
The ground level includes bike storage, changing rooms, and a publicly accessible garden, integrating the project with the ongoing urban transformation of Avenida Rebouças and its surroundings.
Structurally, HY Pinheiros consists of ten peripheral columns connected to eight support points on the ground. In addition, the building meets LEED certification standards, featuring energy-efficient lighting and an air conditioning system with filtration and natural ventilation.
