Gianfranco Vannucchi Delivers Lecture at CAU-BR Conference

Gianfranco Vannucchi, founding partner of Königsberger Vannucchi, participated in the 2025 CAU International Conference: Architecture and Urbanism for All in Brasília. On 5 September, he delivered a lecture to an audience of over a thousand attendees, including students, architects, journalists, and other interested participants, who followed the presentation with great enthusiasm.

During his talk, Gianfranco traced the firm’s trajectory over more than 50 years of practice, showcasing projects developed throughout this period and offering reflections on professional practice. With touches of humour, he also addressed the challenges of keeping an architecture firm active amidst Brazil’s varied political, economic, and social contexts, while offering guidance to the young architects in attendance.

The conference brought together more than 120 speakers from 20 countries to discuss housing, mobility, climate change, and diversity. The event was organised by the Council of Architecture and Urbanism of Brazil (CAU/BR) in partnership with AIA International and AIA Latin America, and held at the Brasil 21 Events and Convention Centre.
