Duo Alto de Pinheiros
Av. Prof. Frederico Hermann Júnior 199, Alto de Pinheiros, São Paulo, Brasil
Duo Alto de Pinheiros, located in the neighbourhood of the same name, consists of two towers arranged at a 90-degree angle, forming a screen-like structure facing Avenida Professor Frederico Hermann Júnior and the surrounding strictly residential zone.
The layout created a tree-lined entrance plaza that connects the project with its surroundings and brings greenery closer to the units’ balconies.
A sophisticated interlocking layout, with alternating unit positions in each tower, allowed all apartments to feature living rooms and balconies with double-height ceilings. In addition to creating spacious interiors, this solution established a visual identity that became a hallmark of this high-end building.
Designed at a time when the luxury real estate market was still dominated by “neoclassical” buildings, Duo Alto de Pinheiros broke paradigms by proposing a contemporary architectural language.
