On 9 September, Carla Estrella, Technical Director at Königsberger Vannucchi, took part in a Masterclass on BIM Management and Best Practices, organised by AsBEA-SP at the Roca São Paulo Gallery. During the event, she presented the firm’s internal processes for project organisation in BIM, participating in a panel alongside architects Anderson Zanutto (Kröner and Zanutto) and Guilherme Canadeu (FGMF).
Carla explained how BIM was implemented within the office, detailing workflows and the resulting improvements in coordination and delivery quality. The panel provided practical insights into how different firms and companies are using BIM in their processes, highlighting its transformative role in the sector.
According to Carla Estrella: “The discussion explored essential topics for the efficient implementation of BIM, including best modelling practices, standards, information structures, responsibility matrices, scope definition, and BIM model management. The debate illustrated how BIM models are being integrated into everyday project workflows, emphasising the methodology’s transformative impact across the construction chain. The event was considered both engaging and productive, underlining the importance of knowledge exchange among professionals”.
